The Challenge
Levante Living had recently purchased this residence that had been a positive and popular senior’s residence in this small town in Southwestern Ontario for many years. Within the previous year, a competitor had entered the very small marketplace and disrupted the steady flow of new residents at Wallaceburg.
The leadership team had discussed and made improvements in many areas and were still not seeing occupancy levels return to a profitable place.
The Discovery
The Senior Living Pro Marketing Environmental Audit formulated a plan that set Wallaceburg Retirement Residence on a positive journey over the next year.
Although there were five recommendations that drove strategy over a year of working together, the most significant included restructuring the care and services package offered. For 28 years Wallaceburg Retirement Residence had offered a singular “All-Inclusive” pricing package. This outdated model had negative effects throughout the operation and environment and needed a fresh start.
The Solution
Throughout our engagement, Senior Living Pro made structural recommendations and managed a renovation budget that refreshed the residential environment, worked one-on-one with the leadership and sales teams to fine-tune their approach, conducted multi-site training opportunities and sales coaching to guide and install successful sales tactics and improve occupancy outcomes.
