The Ask
ORCA recognized that many of its members operated without the benefit of a large management team or as a single owner-operator. This member type looked to their professional association to support and educate on the task of marketing as it relates to occupancy performance. In addition to being a Commercial Member of the Association, Senior Living Pro was asked to author, create and produce a fully customized Marketing and Communications Toolkit for distribution to all ORCA members. In addition, a series of speaking engagements were booked to introduce the MarCom Toolkit and further to educate on digital and social media as well as other marketing skill-sets.

Client Overview
Since 1977, the Ontario Retirement Communities Association (ORCA) has been the voice of Ontario’s retirement communities committed to setting a standard of operational excellence in the sector. ORCA represents 92 per cent of all licensed retirement community suites in Ontario, with members caring for nearly 60,000 seniors who choose to call retirement communities their home. ORCA’s membership also includes over 240 commercial partners who provide products and valuable services to retirement communities throughout the province.
